Rivals United For A Cure 2014

RHEA0668Elite OC Productions was thrilled to be a part of Rivals United for a Kure’s Annual Gala again this year! Rivals United aims to bring Bruins and Trojans together to unite and fight cancer. Their goal is to provide equal funds for innovative cancer research at UCLA Johnson and USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Centers.

Elite was responsible for the Silent auction, overall design and décor, the fun-filled VIP party and managing volunteers throughout the event. It was a fun task to create a design concept that was both USC and UCLA friendly and Elite was delighted with the opportunity to bring it all together at the unique City Club Los Angeles.

The VIP party started first, setting the bottom floor of City National Plaza with votive filled cocktail tables and a large bar. Elite also set up  “Tailgate” games throughout the space for VIP guests to enjoy each other’s company with some friendly competition. The Rivals were encouraged to show off their skills in Beer Pong, Flip Cup, Cornhole and even a mini putting strip. USC and UCLA cheerleaders lined the registration area for photo opportunities. All guests then went upstairs to the 51st floor to find a lavish champagne tower topped with a huge floral display filled with white Roses, Lilies and Dendrobium Orchids, followed by a fabulous Silent Auction leading into the cocktail reception. Elite elegantly decorated the silent auction with black linens, extravagant gift baskets featured gold and silver ribbons and customized item boards represented USC and UCLA well with their joint color of gold along with red and blue. The City Club features a magnificent wine cellar that was used as the home of a wine tasting experience for guests. Across the hall was a mock-up of a custom dinner for 10 with Chef Extraordinaire Orazio Parisi and Olivi Wines, a coveted live auction item.

400 guests enjoyed beautiful views from the top level of City National Plaza, not to be let down by the reveal of the ballroom’s 180-degree view of Los Angeles. The Ballroom was filled with silver chairs around gold and silver tables topped with wine and La Sovana Olive Oil. The centerpieces were made up of simple yet elegant white roses and floating votive candles creating the most perfect ambiance over the backdrop of the city lights. Paul McDonald and Matt Stevens, campaign co-chairs and former UCLA and USC quarterbacks, introduced the program as guests enjoyed their gourmet meal. Stories were shared, auctions were won and fun was had by all. We look forward to next year!

Peacock & Purple Themed Surprise Birthday Party

t1QHWvTTFZASsQxrxwoejky3EyGvX_IsdZXGHN2hCmc,T6geHlE0GS5TGy1PfvP7iwzWsOaLMBSq1UvJUEUqyFMElite OC Productions really enjoyed doing the full production for a private surprise birthday party dinner at a private residence in Newport Coast on November 1, 2014. This party was rather intimate with 24 guests in attendance.

Elite OC Productions planned this surprise birthday dinner with the husband for his wife’s birthday. The husband described his wife as very happy, loving, vibrant and adventurous; therefore we wanted to make sure the table scape for the dinner party was full of color and life. Her favorite color is purple, so we made sure to incorporate that into the décor and theme.

We had two tables of twelve and both tables were a different theme. Both tables were inside a cabana outside near the pool. Inside the cabana, there was a fireplace with floating candles all around. One of the tables was Peacock themed. The chairs were silver Chiavari’s with Curly Willow Peacock Chair Sleeves. The linen was Camila Teal and the napkins were Nu Silk Sapphire with Starburst Olive napkin rings. This table had clear beaded chargers and silver rimmed glassware and china. We also created custom menus with Peacock feathers on them. The second table was Vibrant Purple. This table also had silver Chiavari chairs but these were covered with Aleah Lace Nu Silk Radiant Violet chair sleeves. The linen was Lily Pad Violet and the napkins were Nu Silk Jazzberry with Starburst Olive napkin rings. This table also had clear beaded chargers and silver rimmed glassware and china. These custom menus had purple rhinestones on them. Both tables had over the top floral arrangements that included one tall piece filled with purple, pink and red florals, small arrangements surrounding it in antique silver vases and tons of candles.

As guests first arrived, we had fun photos of the wife blown up from her and her husband’s favorite adventures together. For the first hour, guests enjoyed signature dry ice martinis, tray passed hors d’ouerves and a strolling magician. Guests were then directed outside to a beautiful view. We had staggered cylinders with floating candles along the pool and three cocktail tables with beautiful beaded lace linens. We also had a DJ playing along with a violinist. The DJ would play a song and the violinist would play along to the beat. Guests truly enjoyed this unique, one of a kind experience! While the DJ and violinist played, guests cozied up and enjoyed dinner on the fabulous tables inside the cabana. Guests enjoyed a four-course dinner provided by Crème de la Crème. During dinner, the violinist came inside of the cabana and strolled around playing a variety of different songs. It was a magical dining experience for guests.

Elite OC Productions really enjoyed putting on this special event and couldn’t have asked for better clients!8GI41BzJ9WqK752LqUhdjm8rfiX90dmtEjZupuUWK28,KpOH1PGvqlhUwBdjwkPH9sbGlxNwBNllW7MXkI0Nwjc Photo Nov 01, 6 18 12 PM

Red Bucket 2014

IMG_4229-MElite OC Productions was very excited to be a part of Red Bucket’s 2nd annual Ruby Red Event on November 15, 2014. We were responsible for the full production. This unique charity event was held from 5PM-11PM at the Red Bucket Ranch in Chino Hills with about 300 guests in attendance. The evening was filled with music, fine food and horses.

The theme for the evening was “Denim and Diamonds” with some Ruby Red flair. The tablecloths were white with red napkins in the shape of a bow with a diamond napkin ring. We also used white chairs. Everyone that was in attendance wore classic jeans and cowboy boots with some type of glamour. The centerpieces were put together by the fantastic Red Bucket committee themselves. The centerpieces were a basket with lots of greenery, pomegranates and twinkling lights. They were amazing!

The evening began with VIP tours of the ranch. During this tour, guests were able to meet some of the horses and get a first-hand look at where their second chances begin. After the tour, guests were led to the hosted cocktail reception. King’s Seafood Company provided the appetizers and the beer tasting bar was hosted by Anheuser-Busch. King’s seafood also hosted the dinner.

The event had an amazing silent and live auction spread, including a puppy! The silent auction layout was red linens with white fluff and the “super silent” auction items were on a white tablecloth with red fluff. The “super silent” auction items were more upscale vacations and items, such as a Deer Valley getaway, Big Bear getaway, a handmade table, and a nice dinner at your home by Chef Michelangelo. There was also an opportunity drawing for a beautiful jewelry piece created out of donated pieces from the Red Bucket family. All of the fabulous auction items were bid on using an electronic bidding system.

Guests were able to bid anywhere, anytime from their smart phones, tablets or computers. This was fun for guests because it got them extra involved in the bidding process. Many were caught in bidding wars!

There was also a new and exciting addition to help raise money for this amazing cause, and that was a 100-Yard Dash! There were two boards on stage that had random dollar amounts, anywhere from $1 – $200. Guests were invited up to the stage to write their bid number on a dollar amount. This was very successful and helped Red Bucket raise even more funds for the horses.

This year’s event had a dance floor for guests to take advantage of while one of LA’s best bands, “Shotgun Wedding” played. This was an awesome band and guests really enjoyed their music.

The 2nd annual Ruby Red Event proved to be yet another success. They were able to raise the funds they needed for the horses and we all look forward to even more success next year!
