First Team Estates’ Pinnacle of Luxury Event

First Team Elite OC ProductionsElite OC Productions was in charge of the full production for First Team Estates’ Pinnacle of Luxury Event at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast. The event announced the multi-year partnership between First Team Estates, the top independent real estate company in Southern California, Christie’s International Real Estate, the #1 name in luxury real estate worldwide, and Luxury Portfolio International. Experts from all three companies shared their secrets and tips to success with the 500 First Team Estates luxury agents attending, as well as their tools to help the agents dominate the world of luxury real estate.

Elite OC Productions worked closely with First Team Estates at weekly meetings on the timeline, script, budget, venue and much more. Elite OC Productions also worked with and coordinated all the vendors for the event, including Jason Lopez, who created an introduction video that showcased First Team Estates, Christie’s International Real Estate and Luxury Portfolio International coming together to form Pinnacle of Luxury. They also worked hand in hand with their AV/Lighting vendor MEI. MEI was in charge of the AV, staging and lighting, which featured a stage that changed colors throughout the day. Elite OC Productions created the power point program and assisted with collecting all videos and materials used during the presentations. During the day of the event, Elite OC Productions called the show with MEI. Pelican Hill Resort provided an alfresco breakfast and lunch for attendees.

When guests walked into the room in the morning and following lunch, there was an interactive poll on the screen that asked questions, such as “What do your luxury buyers value most?” The agents were able to text their answers, and later the results were showcased on the screens. During the breaks, Christie’s International Real Estate and Luxury Portfolio International had marketing tables set up, as did The Wall Street Journal, Riviera Magazine, Pelican Hill, and A Bird’s Eye (drone). Guests could interact and learn more about the tips and tools available to them. Elite OC Productions managed the set-up the day of the event and coordinated the installation and strike of all the rentals.

First Team Estates’ Luxury Marketing Director Debbie Lewandowski was host for the day, and First Team Estates’ Founding President and CEO Cameron Merage presented the company’s 2013 Luxury Awards and gave closing remarks. The morning speakers included Zackary Wright, Christies’ International Real Estate’s Senior Vice President and Western Regional Director, and Kathleen Coumou, Christie’s Senior Vice President and Northeast Regional Manager. The morning panel featured the following people: Renee Grubb, Village Properties Realtors, Santa Barbara; Marcie Hartley, Hilton & Hyland; Ashley McEvers, Willis Allen; and Mary Thompson, Pacific Union Marin. The evening speakers included Stephanie Pfeffer Anton, Luxury Portfolio International’s Vice President, and Debbie Lewandowski, First Team Estates’ Luxury Marketing Director. Age Well Senior Services’ 2014 Captain’s Ball

2014 Captain's Ball Elite OC Productions managed, packaged, displayed, and administered the silent and live auctions, pledges and wine wall for Age Well Senior Services’ 2014 Captain’s Ball, held at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Elite customized and designed creative silent auction description boards highlighting the ball’s masquerade theme, using black fabric boards layered with gold paper and a Venetian mask. The silent auction items were picked up at Age Well Senior Services in Laguna Woods and packaged at Elite’s Newport Beach office before they were brought to the hotel the day of the event, where they were displayed in the silent auction area designed by Elite. The production company worked closely with BIDHelpers, who managed the registration, silent and live auctions, pledges, wine wall, check-out, and item pick-up the night of the ball.

Honorees for the gala included representatives from Edwards Lifesciences of Irvine, along with Steve Geidt, CEO of Laguna Hills-based Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, and Marla Noel, president of Fairhaven Memorial Park and Mortuary of Santa Ana. The companies and individuals were recognized for their exemplary work with seniors.

The Captain’s Ball co-chairs were Patty Alexander and Ron Widick, both of whom currently serve as members of Age Well’s board of directors. Actor Charlie Matthau, son of the legendary actor Walter Matthau, emceed the ball.

The ball drew 450 guests and netted $75,000 for Age Well Senior Services’ work as Orange County’s leading nonprofit provider of critical programs, services and resources for seniors living primarily in South Orange County. This year’s proceeds were targeted for the Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals to seniors living at home, who are unable to prepare their own meals or go out to eat.


CASA’s Black & White Ball Underwriter’s Party

Lugano Diamonds Casa Orange CountyLinda Young’s OC Elite Productions was in charge of the entire production of CASA’s Black & White Ball Underwriter’s Party held at Lugano Diamonds in Newport Beach. They worked with Lugano on the event design and implemented it for the ball’s underwriters and sponsors to enjoy.

Valet parking for the event drew guests to the party entrance, where a beautiful white tent, with its oversized white lamp décor, greeted guests. Tulips of Champagne were offered and guests were invited to enjoy the party in the white draped room with its blue up lighting. Lounge seating on modern white leather and chrome furniture with octagonal shaped backing was available as well as highboy cocktail tables with intricate silver design bases. In keeping with the black and white ball theme, stunning black band contemporary chandeliers added to the ambience. A talented pianist entertained on a black baby grand, and for those who were interested in a cigar, they were invited to the cigar bar to cut their own cigar and smoke outside. A wine table was provided for guests, as they were invited to bring a bottle of wine to donate to the Black & White Ball’s wine auction on April 25, 2014.

Guests could enjoy the magnificent jewelry inside Lugano Diamonds’ showroom at any time, since Lugano is located on the bottom floor of a high-rise, and the tent’s exit spilled out to the Lugano entrance. The Asian-inspired cuisine, catered by the Island Hotel, was enjoyed by all. The Peking duck was a particular favorite, as well as the chicken and beef skewers and the handmade-on-the-spot sushi by the accompanying sushi chef. Desserts of fruit tarts, bite-size cheesecake, chocolate confections, and more, satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth. A full bar offered guests their choice of drinks, and the William Cole Vineyards in Napa Valley offered a wine tasting, as well as its highly-rated wines for the party. Lugano’s walk-in vault was offered for guests to sit in and enjoy, while a guitarist provided great background music for the party. White orchids and succulents added to the décor and the theme.

Larry Wilson, CASA’s Black & White Ball Advocate of the Year, spoke about his love for CASA, and CASA board of directors member Ted Nark and chairman Mark Steiman spoke about CASA’s success in training advocates to serve as mentors for the community’s most severely abused, abandoned and neglected children. Lugano Diamonds’ President Stuart Winston was gracious in his remarks in welcoming guests to the party and in speaking about Lugano’s commitment to supporting the nonprofit.
